Business Activities of the Company broadly cover the following :-

1. Fabrication and Piping work for Oil field facilities, of Oil & Natural Gas Commission Ltd., mostly offshore. Such works are executed either directly for ONGC or as sub-contractor to other contractors of ONGC like Mazagon Dock Ltd., Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd., etc. One major on-shore sub-contract was also executed during the year at ONGC-Gandhar Complex in Gujarat, as sub-contractor to M/s. Lloyds Steel Industries Ltd.

2. Works for ONGC generally involve pre-fabrication of Structural components and piping, installation thereof on the platforms as per drawings supplied by the clients, non-destructive testing of weld joints (radiographic, ultrasonic or dye-peretration tests as per the applicable specifications), stress relieving wherever required (through heat treatment process) and hydrotesting for piping work. In some cases electrical and instrumentation work like cable laying, calibration, testing and installation of instruments, etc would also be required to be carried out. Specialised work like sand blasting and painting to offshore standards, testing of weld joints, heat-treatment and electrical instrumentation work is usually got done through other agencies by sub-contracting.
